Pedometer Challenge 2015

CICSA is pleased to announce the recent partnership with the Pedometer Challenge Committee to bring a the Pedometer Challenge 2015 to the seven participating civil service entities.

The agencies competing in the Pedometer Challenge 2015 are the Information Commissioner’s Office, the Office of the Auditor General, the Office of the Complaints Commissioner, the Office of the Deputy Governor, the Portfolio of the Civil Service, Government Information Services and the Ministry of Health and Culture. We always strive for improvement for our members and this year one of our primary focuses will be on health and wellness. This three week contest runs from January 16th to February 5th, 2015 CICSA encourages participants to increase the number of steps they stake each day in order to compete with other participants and other agencies. The Pedometer Challenge is an excellent opportunity to increase physical activity in a safe affordable manner and thereby improve our members overall health. We hope that this pilot project will be a success and that the pedometer challenge will soon be offered to the entire civil service and all of our valued members. We wish all of the participants the best of luck and we are sure that each of you can walk your way to improved health!
